Tax hike for the Rich....proposes Mcguinty government

The provincial budget for 2012 came out recently and because of the proposed tax hike and wage freezes, and budget cuts, it was not approved. The NDP and Conservative partiesdid not vote and promsied the public that this budget will not pass. Andrea Horwarth (NDP leader) and Tim Hudak (Conservative PC leader) did not approve the budget and talks have been going on where the parties were negotiating how to deal with the debt and to save money without making everyones life really hard.

Just recently, Andrea Horwarth proposed that there should be more tax on people who earn over $500,000 dollars and McGuinty just approved it and released a statement.

In my opinion, I think that is the right thing to do instead of giving everyone a paycut. Prices for gas and basic food are going up and it is really hard for a normal household to get all the nutrition. Everyone has to think twice before buying fruits and vegetables. Nowadays, it is cheaper to buy un-healthy McDonalds than to buy vegetables. Hydro went up 5% and other basic necessities are getting harder to keep.

The liberal government was elected because people think that they have the publics best interest and they always promise not to propose a tax hike or a pay cut but they always fail to keep them.

I think it's time for the public to learn that Liberals never keep their promises. After winning every election they propose a new tax hike on energy.

The retirement age is raised to 67, which I think is ridiculous because I don't understand how can the province be in debt everytime an election comes around. Everything is getting expensive.

They should make all those Refugees to get off their asses and work. Seriously, I understand that you came here to seek shelter but how long do you need to overcome your situation. Instead of sitting and sucking the system, the government should make them work. There are generations of refugees here and they are all using the system to their advantage.

I don't have anything against refugees but I just don't like how our province is in debt because we have to pay their bills.
